Our Freight Forwarders are certified through the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA), and are qualified for documentation and Dangerous Goods handling for all modes of transportation.

From pre-shipment, to in-transit, and finally arrival, PF Collins provides professional management of all Freight Forwarding and logistics requirements through every step of the process. We focus on the selection of optimal transport modes to ensure complete on-time, and cost-effective delivery of all international and domestic shipments.

During project planning and procurement, our Customs Consultants can review your project plans and recommend strategies to minimize customs duties and taxes on materials and equipment being imported for your project. For example, we can assist with Coasting Trade Applications, Advance Rulings, Free Trade Agreement Management, and GST Consulting.

Our Registered Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) can provide advice and representation for project personnel and vessel crews seeking entry into Canada. We have over 30 years of experience in assisting businesses employing temporary foreign workers to support their operations in Canada.

For foreign companies setting up operations in Canada, we help import equipment and bring in personnel. We also provide project administration services to ensure a smooth transition into your Canadian operations. For example, accounting/banking services, accommodations, lease of office space, tax advice, etc.

We offer Marine Agency services to support vessels imported into Canada for project activities. In addition to coordinating berth and dockside services, we assist with crew requirements and the handling of ships’ cargo. On your behalf, our Marine Agents will communicate with government and port officials and help to ensure your vessel operations remain compliant with all local laws and regulations.

In coordination with our Certified Customs Specialists, our Freight Forwarders and Expeditors ensure all import/export shipments and critical project materials arrive on time and on budget.

Coordinating expedited logistics and customs clearance for the import/export of materials and equipment and ships’ spares including completion of required documentation.

During your project, we arrange temporary and long-term storage of project materials and equipment at secure warehousing facilities.
